Conbextra HS

Conbextra HS is a dual shrinkage compensated, high flow cementitious grout used grouting applications where rapid strength gain and high ultimate strength is a pre-requisite. Compressive strength of 26 MPa @ 8 hours and 95 MPa @ 28 days when mixed at flowable consistency.

Typical Applications

  • Grouting machine bases where quick back to service is required and/or high ultimate compressive strength

Advantages

  • Non-metallic dual expansion system compensates for shrinkage in both the plastic and hardened states
  • Excellent initial flow and flow retention suitable for large and small grout pours
  • Rapid strength gain facilitates efficient installation and operation of plant
  • High ultimate strength and low permeability ensure durability of the hardened grout
  • Hydrogen-free gaseous expansion
  • Chloride free
  • Suitable for pumping or pouring over a large range of application consistencies and temperatures
  • 28 day strength @ 20°C dependent on consistency (cube samples) : 85-100MPa
  • Application method : Pump or pour
  • Chemical resistance : Not resistant to acids - use epoxy grouts
  • Flexural Strength (modulus of rupture) @ 28 days : 137MPa
  • Gap size : 10mm to 125mm
  • Indirect tensile strength @ 28 days : 70MPa
  • Service temperature : >200°C
  • Set time : 5 hours
  • Tack free time : 600mm flow cone 10 - 30 seconds
