A big investment in digital capability and technical sales expertise is enabling Fosroc ANZ to deliver excellent specification and application support in every territory. For our ANZ Business Manager Anthony Privitelli, maintaining Fosroc's efficient product supply to customers has been another major focus of the past two years.

“More than ever the construction industry needs quality service and support, with both product and labour supply under strain. Through our relationship with suppliers and expert DuluxGroup procurement team, we have been able to deliver consistent supply,” Anthony says. “And while we can’t directly impact labour supply, the advice that we provide, and our technical solutions are focused on the effective use of labour.”

With over 20 years' experience at DuluxGroup and Parchem, Anthony is responsible for Fosroc's sales, customer service and distribution in Australia and New Zealand, including our network of 30 agency stores.

He believes Fosroc is striking the right balance between self-help tools and personalised service.

Making it easy online

With an e-commerce site in development and our newly launched BIM library, Fosroc is making it easier than ever to specify and order our products.

“Our digital tools are just an extension of our technical sales and customer support team. It’s another way our customers can research and choose our products from anywhere, at any time,” Anthony says.

"Customers can quickly download the TDS for each product or visualise our products in their AutoCAD design. But they can still talk to us for the harder, more complex decisions, to take the next step.”

Independent testing

Fosroc ANZ has also invested heavily in independent testing of its products.

"When we look at the clicks on our website, the testing certificate section is absolutely hot. Our customers obviously value the third-party testing," Anthony says.

With independent testing by reputable third parties, including the Australian Water Quality Centre (AWQC), AWTA, Safe Environments, Cetec, Geotherm Australasia, CSIRO and BRANZ, customers can be confident that Fosroc's products comply with relevant standards.

"We want there to be no ambiguity around compliance. We are proud to be setting a new standard for transparency in the industry."

Personal service is here to stay

While digital support is critical in today's market, Anthony says in-person service remains at the heart of the Fosroc operating model.

"It’s a very technical world that we operate in. We know you can’t leave things to chance in this industry," he says. "That's why we continue to make a serious investment in our technical capability and representation in every region."

This expertise starts with ANZ product segment specialists, for Waterproofing & Sealants (Colin Picton), Concrete Repairs & Grouts (Hamid Khan), Concrete Admixtures & Grinding Aids (Tasha Eagle) and Industrial Flooring & Protective Coatings (Paulson Chelliah).

They support our state specification managers, who lead teams of account managers ensuring customers receive responsive and solutions-focused service.

”Ultimately we want our customers to consider us to be part of their staff, part of their crew,” Anthony says.
